Meet Owen
Owen Claire Smith (AEA/SAG-AFTRA Eligible) is an actor, singer, and songwriter based in Manhattan. She recently appeared on FBI: Most Wanted (CBS) and in AMERICAN PSYCHO (Evelyn Williams), and continues to build a versatile career across TV, film, music, and theatre.
Owen has performed in a wide range of stage productions, from classic musicals to contemporary new works. Whether portraying the quirky best friend, the fierce queen bee, or the classic ingénue, Owen brings range and depth to every role and is often praised for her sharp comedic timing and grounded delivery.
Originally from Alpharetta, Georgia, Owen received a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan and continues to train in acting (Joan Rosenfels), voice (Sarah K. Brown), and dance.
She is represented in the NY, LA, and Atlanta markets by Station 3 Entertainment.

September 2025 — Owen portrayed Evelyn Williams in the regional premiere of AMERICAN PSYCHO at Houston Broadway Theatre, directed by Joe Calarco. The cast workshopped the show with Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (book) and Duncan Sheik (music and lyrics) to develop a fully reimagined version of the 2016 Broadway production.
Additional 2025 credits include TV's "FBI: MOST WANTED" (CBS) as Maddie Baker, a reading of UNLOCK'D (Belinda) with Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, and an industry showcase of MODERN (Grace) written by Selda and Derek and directed by Telly Leung.
Owen recently signed with Bicoastal MGMT modeling agency and is represented in their commercial, fashion, runway, print, editorial, parts, and fit divisions.
Her debut EP is coming soon.
